Getting Started

I'm so glad you are here! 

To start a conversation with me about counseling, you can email me, call me, or send me a message through my contact page

It is important that you find a therapist who you think is a good fit for your needs. I offer a free 15-minute Phone Consultation that gives you a chance to ask questions about how I work. This also gives me a chance to learn more about you. 

Next, we schedule an Intake Appointment.  Intake Appointments are 50-minutes long. In these sessions we go over paperwork and I gather important historical information, as well as information about your current needs. 

After that, you and I work together to create goals. We discuss the kinds of therapy we will use, and how frequently we will meet.
