Deb King, LMHCS
I am passionate about helping individuals thrive. I have experience with mothers; especially those struggling with infertility, postpartum mood issues and anxiety. Sometimes individuals need help adjusting to the changes that can happen when you become a parent. That’s my job, to come along side you and journey with you while you find your way.
I am a member of Postpartum Support International and am passionate about maternal mental health. My areas of specialty are postpartum issues, grief and loss, parenting, self-esteem, and personal growth. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective trauma therapy. EMDR can also be used to treat anxiety or depression.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor who graduated from Ashland University in 2006. I graduated with a degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. In the past I have worked with at-risk children, adolescents and families in urban environments as well as in private practice.
